The support posts for this pitch had to be set in pile foundations due to unstable ground conditions.
Two training pitches were constructed, both featuring roof nets at a height of 4.5m. The larger pitch comprised 25mm thick phenol-faced plywood mounted over 868 Dualtech rebound mesh to provide a robust, smooth surface for the ball to bounce off during practice sessions.
